Between June 18 and 30, factory acceptance tests were successfully conducted for the following equipment:
- High-voltage disconnectors intended for the investment package related to the expansion of the Chișinău Electric Substation;
- Angle irons to be used in the construction of R-NS, R-30, and R-60 type pylons for the 400 kV Overhead Power Line (LEA) along the Vulcănești-Chișinău route.
The expertise took place at manufacturing plants in India and Italy, under the supervision of a team of representatives from Î.S. „Moldelectrica”.
According to the conclusions, the equipment meets all technical requirements and is expected to withstand the meteorological conditions specific to the Republic of Moldova.
The construction of the 400 kV Overhead Power Line along the Vulcănești-Chișinău route is part of the Power System Development Project (PDSE), funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Energy through UCIPE - MEPIU.
The project implementation period is 2022–2025.
The beneficiary institution is ÎS Moldelectrica.
