UCIPE refutes the information published by the TIMPUL news portal concerning alleged violations in the context of certain tenders.
We express our deep disappointment over the unfounded attacks directed at the institution and regret that the information was disseminated without being substantiated or verified with the institutions mentioned in the article, which demonstrates bias and a gross lack of professionalism on the part of the anonymous author.
We assure the public that all tender procedures related to the mentioned projects are strictly regulated by recognized international standards and are rigorously monitored by project financiers such as the World Bank and the EBRD. Projects implemented with UCIPE’s support are subject to all international and national verification and audit procedures.
We believe that this defamatory attack is aimed precisely at undermining the efforts of national authorities and their development partners, as well as hindering strategic projects for the interconnection of the national energy system with the European grid and the modernization of the thermal energy system—projects that are currently in an active implementation phase.
At the same time, in order to prevent the manipulation of public opinion, UCIPE reaffirms its openness and willingness to provide publicly relevant information about its activities, including regarding the subject in question.
